1. Overview

Ideal for software engineers with any education qualification who can quickly understand existing systems and want to grow into modernization work.

PATH is from VB6 to .NET (C#) Modernisation using any one of the AI coding tools. Training and time will be provided on AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

Understand and run the existing Visual Basic 6 [VB6] codebase, Crystal Reports.

Provide production support: troubleshooting, bug fixes, performance tuning, and maintenance.

Drive or support modernization to .NET (C#) using Visual Studio 2022 and AI coding tools.

What We Are Looking For

2 or any number of years IT experience, hands-on with VB6 and Crystal Reports.

Hint: VB6 is a legacy software. Normally, you will only find experienced people who are currently unemployed or have shifted to other technologies. Or they are in other fields of work, not currently employed, or they may be wishing to return to software. 

Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with any databases like MS-access, SQL Server, MYSQL or ORACLE.

Interest or basic experience in .NET (C#)

Strong willingness to learn anything the project or job demands.
