Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import and Domestic Purchase Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import and domestic purchase activities, including inventory planning, documentation, and export paperwork. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and timely procurement of goods for our domestic sales and small-volume exports.


Key Responsibilities:

• Import Purchase Management:

o Coordinate and manage import activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.

o Handle local purchases to meet the company's inventory requirements.

o Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices.

o Negotiate with shipping lines to obtain the best rates and delivery timelines.

o Coordinate with the CHA (Clearing Agents) to ensure smooth and quick customs clearance of the shipment.

• Inventory Planning:

o Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.

o Monitor inventory levels and forecast future inventory needs.

o Collaborate with the sales teams & suppliers to align inventory planning with business needs.

• Documentation and Compliance:

o Prepare and manage all necessary import and domestic purchase documentation.

o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

o Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation.

• Export Paperwork:

o Handle the paperwork for small-volume exports.

o Ensure all export documentation is accurate and complies with international trade regulations.

• Data Analysis:

o Analyze import data using relevant tools and provide reports to management.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in import and domestic purchase management. Minimum of 3 years of recent experience.

• Strong knowledge of inventory planning and management.

• Familiarity with Import-export documentation and regulations.

• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and regulations.

• Experience with vendor management and development.

• Ability to manage logistics and transportation for imports.

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and accounting software like Tally, Spectrum etc.

• Proficiency in Spectrum Business Management software, with recent experience using it, is a plus.


Location:

• Currently Nr. Vile Parle East Station, Mumbai

• Soon shifting to the new office Near WEH Metro station in Andheri East, Mumbai
