Job Title: Key Account Executive

Location: Andheri

Reporting To: Regional Manager / Director

Job Purpose:

A Key Account Executive in a logistics company focuses on managing and growing relationships with

the company's most important clients. This involves understanding their specific logistics needs,

ensuring excellent service delivery, and identifying opportunities for account expansion. They act as

the primary point of contact, problem-solver, and strategic partner for their assigned accounts. .

Key Responsibilities:

 Spot Bidding, Pricing, Spot RFQ, Reverse Auction.

 Client Relationship Management:

Establishing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the

main point of contact for all their logistics needs.

 Needs Assessment:

Understanding client business requirements, identifying opportunities for growth, and

developing tailored logistics solutions to meet their specific needs.

 Solution Development:

Collaborating with internal teams (sales, operations, etc.) to create and implement

customized logistics strategies and solutions.

 Service Delivery:

Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of logistics services, including transportation,

warehousing, and distribution, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

 Issue Resolution:

Addressing client concerns and resolving any issues or challenges that arise in a timely and

effective manner.

 Business Development:

Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional logistics services to

existing clients, contributing to revenue growth.

 Reporting and Communication:

Preparing and presenting regular reports on client performance, market trends, and

competitive analysis to internal stakeholders.

 Negotiation:

Negotiating contracts, rates, and service level agreements with clients, ensuring mutually

beneficial agreements.

 Industry Knowledge:

Staying up-to-date on the latest logistics trends, technologies, and best practices to provide

informed recommendations to clients.

Skills & Qualifications:

 Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

 Proficiency in logistics software and technology platforms.

 Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

 Strong organizational and time management skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Knowledge of logistics principles, including transportation, inventory management, and

warehousing.

 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination or client servicing

 Salary Approx 30k

 Strong written and verbal communication skills

 Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace and email handling

 Experience with client portals and logistics documentation

 Quick decision-making and escalation handling abilities

 Strong interpersonal skills and client-handling confidence

 Ability to multitask and follow through across functions

 Attention to detail and responsiveness under pressure
