Role Overview
We are looking for
a results-driven and self-motivated Business Development Manager to join
our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in selling IT
products and services, with a focus on B2B enterprise clients. This role
demands excellent communication skills, an understanding of the sales cycle,
and the ability to open new accounts as well as manage existing relationships.
Key
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
in target markets (IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, smart access, cloud,
etc.)
- Manage the complete sales cycle – from lead
generation to closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, partners, and OEMs
- Coordinate with the pre-sales and technical
teams to develop customized solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals,
and commercial quotes
- Work on RFPs, tenders, and vendor registration
processes
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor
activities, and client requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in
B2B/enterprise sales or business development in IT, cybersecurity, or
related fields
- Solid understanding of technology solutions
like network infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, cloud services, or smart
access systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client
engagement abilities
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and
priorities effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a
related field
- Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office, and
LinkedIn for sales outreach
Good to
Have
- Experience working with system integrators,
VARs, or OEMs
- Exposure to enterprise or mid-market client
segments
- Understanding of government or education
sector sales (added advantage)
