Job Overview : Position : GM / AVP / SVP – Business Development Reports To : Managing Director
Experience : Minimum 10 to 15 years
Salary : 8-12 Lakhs
Responsibilities and Duties : Own and drive end-to-end business development strategy for RTA services. Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities – listed companies,
IPO mandates, ESOP administration, and registrar services. Build and maintain relationships with CXOs, Company Secretaries, Compliance Officers, and key stakeholders of target clients. Conduct client meetings, pitch services, understand needs, and present customized solutions. Represent the company in investor conferences, corporate events, and roadshows. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, legal, technology) to design proposals and ensure service readiness. Track and report sales pipeline, forecasts, conversions, and revenue metrics. Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks. Act as a brand ambassador and uphold the reputation of Bigshare in all external interactions.
Requisites & Responsibilities
Leadership & Problem solving skills Proven track record of 15+ years in business development/sales within financial services, RTA, or capital markets.
Strong understanding of RTA services, IPO processes, corporate actions, and investor servicing. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Proactive self-starter with ability to close deals through in-person engagements. Leadership experience in managing teams and strategic initiatives is a plus. Well-networked within the ecosystem – listed companies, merchant bankers, compliance professionals, etc.
Qualifications : Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA in Marketing or Finance preferred.Personal characteristics: Confident Physical abilities: Presentable
