Tendering Senior Manager (Petrochemical Industry)


Job Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and seasoned Senior Manager of Tendering to drive our tendering

initiatives in the petrochemical sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in

managing complex tenders, a deep understanding of the industry, and a demonstrated ability to lead

and inspire teams. The role involves shaping tendering strategies, building key relationships, and

ensuring the successful execution of bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender Strategy and Leadership:

 Formulate and execute comprehensive tendering strategies that align with company goals

and market trends.

 Lead a high-performing team of tendering professionals, fostering innovation and

collaboration.

 Evaluate and prioritize tender opportunities, guiding the team in making informed bid

decisions.

 Candidates should know tender Search Bid Preparation - Technical Price Bid; E - tendering /

E - Bidding / Reverse Auctions / Live Auctions.

Client Engagement and Partnerships:

 Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, positioning the company as a preferred

solution provider.

 Represent the organization in pre-tender discussions, negotiations, and presentations.

Tender Preparation and Submission:

 Oversee the end-to-end tendering process, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of

compelling bid documents.

 Collaborate cross-functionally to gather technical, commercial, and legal inputs for bid

submissions.

 Review and enhance tender proposals to effectively address client requirements and

showcase company strengths.

 Market Insights and Strategy Enhancement:

 Stay at the forefront of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes,

providing strategic insights.

 Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in tendering approaches.

 Candidates should have knowledge of Vendor registration on GEM Portals & other

government portals.

Negotiation and Contract Finalization:

 Lead high-stakes negotiations with clients, focusing on achieving optimal terms and fostering

long-term partnerships.

 Work closely with legal teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.


Reporting and Performance Analysis:

 Maintain accurate records of tender activities, interactions, and outcomes.

 Provide comprehensive reports and analysis to senior leadership on tender progress,

successes, and areas for optimization.

Qualifications and Skills:

 Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

 5+ years of progressive experience in tendering, sales, or business development within the

petrochemical / Engineering / Power Sector industry

 Candidate should have knowledge of attending factory Inspection.

 Proven leadership experience, including managing and motivating high-performing teams.

 Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

 Deep understanding of petrochemical products, industry trends, and market dynamics.


 Analytical mind-set with the ability to synthesize complex information for strategic decision-

making.


 Proficiency in data analysis and market research.

 Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

 Demonstrated track record of successfully winning complex tenders and driving revenue

growth.
