*JOB OFFER BY PC TECHNOLOGY – MAHIM – Job Descriptions: Technical Application Support - Trading Application

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Fundamental to intermediate knowledge of Oracle databases.
  • Day-to-day application operations and monitoring
  • Quickly respond to and troubleshoot real time production issues, providing timely resolutions and RCA
  • Understand Front-to-back trade lifecycle, including order management, execution, clearing and settlement process.
  • Ability to perform routine troubleshooting, and support activities across both platforms.
  • Act as a first point of contact for traders and vendors to resolve the issue
  • Application administration including upgrades of software, testing of interfaces during upgrades made by interfacing applications/addition of new interfaces such as payment gateways, application performance fine tuning
  • Application deployment (new releases) and their UAT support.
  • Root cause analysis, implementation of work arounds, escalation of issues to Level 2 Support, implementation of remedies provided.
  • Liaison with other teams such as Network, Infrastructure, System Administration.
  • Co-ordination with Business Users.
  • Regular reporting to the official to manage the concerned application team.
